KHTC - Gelanggang Gayong GMI's Visit

On October 26,2014 Gelanggang KHTC was visited by Gayong members from Gelanggang GMI. The appointment was made earlier by email and phone informing their plan and interest of visiting theirs Gayong brothers and sisters at KHTC. On the date agreed 12 of them arrive at KHTC. They were received with warm and open hand.

They arrived at 10h00 and was invited for breakfast with the brothers from KHTC. They were served with "Nasi Lemak" which are Malaysian traditional dishes and "kuih karipap"along with tea. In the afternoon lunch is also served and they perform the dzohor prayer together at KHTC training centre.

Explanation by Cikgu Zul

The event start with an introduction of Silat Seni Gayong and Gelanggang KHTC. The achievements KHTC had received and coming plan for the development of Gayong internationally and locally. The questions also circle on matters in adat-istadat and knowledge in Gayong.

Tele Conference With Cikgu Kumbang Hitam

The session was ended at 17h00 and before that they got a chance to speak in a video conference direct with Cikgu Kumbang Hitam from Paris. They were very happy because they received an answer directly from him. Cikgu Kumbang Hitam advice them to seek the knowledge of Gayong with all their efforts and respect between each of Gayong brothers and sisters and the most important advice is not to be greedy, jealousy and treachery because it will harm themselves. They were also invited at any time they wish to come to KHTC to train together or just spend times there etc. Nevertheless they were praised with highly thank you for their visits.

KHTC - Silat Seni Gayong Mauritius

Here we go again. On October 21, 2014 we were visited by our Silat Seni Gayong Mauritius brothers, Teemul. This is not the first time he has been to Malaysia to pay a visit. He has gain his training in Malaysia for few times but this time he came for business. With his tight schedule flying to many countries he was unable to train in his trip.

He was very happy to meet his KHTC Gayong brothers. Teemul involved in practicing Silat Seni Gayong since year 2000 at Mauritius by Cikgu Wan He is one of the few Gayong brothers at Mauritius been assigned by Cikgu Wan aka Kumbang Hitam to take care and continued Gayong legacy there. Since that day Gayong has been at that island for 14 years, still moving and alive.Kumbang Hitam has been there few times for making sure and taking care and sharing the knowledge of Gayong. We are like family and the relations are so strong and becomes stronger each single day.

Teemul said next year he will be back for further his training and he said his gratitude and highly thank you to Kumbang Hitam for all the years they are together.

KHTC - Initiation Day

Student comes and go. This new season KHTC performed initiation on October 18,2014 at KHTC Gelanggang Shah Alam. There are 33 students for perlimau tapak and 19 students for perlimau seni. All  together gathering reached around 80 practitioners. The event started at 9am with tahlil and if there is barakah we passed it to our beloved The late Syed Zainal, The late Dato Meor and all teachers of Silat Seni Gayong and muslim muslimah. 

Initiation Ceremony

Initiation is a compulsory to all students who wanted to pursue in the knowledge of Silat Seni Gayong. No matter what age you are or what races you are a need of initiation is necessary and compulsory. No doubt about it. Making this steps KHTC performing this beautiful culture and heritage of Silat Seni Gayong.

May all the acceptance done today officially endorse that the students are belong to Silat Seni Gayong big family. May they all be blessed. They will continued their practiced and have the right to learn the knowledge in Silat Seni Gayong.

The participants came from different gelanggang that was under the administration of Gelanggang KHTC. Some come from Petaling Jaya,Damansara, Batu Caves,Rawang,Kelang and Rantau Panjang. Thank you for all of them keep up the good work and seek all the knowledge while you can.

KHTC - Friendship Among Martial Arts

Sharing is part of KHTC culture and KHTC has been in various places in demand for the purpose. In KHTC we believe those are another method of spreading the knowledge of Silat Seni Gayong everywhere. Hoping there will be light for participant in venture to know on Silat Seni Gayong and be a members in the future. Thru this method KHTC has gain many interested parties to join Silat Seni Gayong. That was only a kind of marketing the art. At KHTC we have many different method in doing so. What we did is not for KHTC but it is for the sake of our beloved Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia which was founded by our great and legendary teacher the late Dato Meor Abdul Rahman.

The video shared are at Holland during a great time with many Perguruan of Penchak Silat  , which was participate by almost 60 participants. The relationship still goes on and Silat Seni Gayong is one of the members of Silat Melayu Malaysia at Holland. Please enjoy the video.

KHTC - Gayong Brothers From Miri,Sarawak

Gayong brothers are everywhere. When any of the kin heard that their brothers are around the feeling of brotherhood hunts them. Gelanggang Gayong KHTC happens to step foot in Miri,Sarawak for some official important appointment. The final destination was at Brunei but since Miri was the neighboring frontier so it was made as a correspondences point.

In Training

Once the foot was there the news about us was spread around and we were invited by our Gayong brothers in Miri for opportunities of training. As usual the invitation was accepted with humbly and highly gratitude.

Preparing for "Perlimau"

The training was done for 4 days after works and finished at midnight. Enthusiasm shows by our Miri brothers sparks the activities. Started only to trained then it was continued with "perlimau seni and tapak". The activities not only in silat, since it is in the month of Syawal so the celebrations of Eid taking places as well.

Eid Celebrations.

We were told that Silat Seni Gayong Miri has a members registered of more than hundreds people. The sharing has motivated them to move forward developing Silat Seni Gayong at their small with expanding oil town .Discussion were made and ideas were thrown out for the positive developments. We will wait for the results from that planning and agreed discussion.

At last but not least we thank you our Gayong brothers at Miri for their hospitalities and concerned of Gayong. May we will be joining soon , take care my brothers.
